4.     Church Treasurer.  The Treasurer shall be the custodian of all funds belonging to the Church. The Treasurer shall disburse money only on a voucher signed by a Department Head, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, or by the Chairman of the Finance Committee, except that the normal payment of employees’ salaries, Church utility bills, ABC Missions, and love gifts shall not require a signed voucher. The Treasurer shall make a quarterly report to the Church at its business meeting. Other special reports may also be made upon the request of the Board of Trustees or Finance Committee. The Treasurer shall be elected annually, and no one shall be disqualified for re-election because of having previously held the office.

5.     Assistant Church Clerk/Treasurer.  The Assistant Clerk/Treasurer shall work with both the Clerk and Treasurer in such a way as to assist and be familiar with all the duties of both the Clerk and Treasurer and to carry out the duties of either in their absence. No one shall be disqualified for re-election because of having previously held the office.

6.     Youth Ministries Coordinator.  The Youth Ministries Coordinator shall be responsible for coordinating the activities of the Youth Ministries Department. He (she) shall arrange for all classes to have teachers and proper supervision during the time at Church when the children are not in the custody of their parent(s) or guardian(s). He (she) shall arrange for the acquisition of children's Christian study materials, art supplies, and other things that may be necessary for the efficient operation of the Youth Ministries, including refreshments as needed. It shall be his (her) duty to attend all Church services whenever possible to insure the continuity of the Youth Ministries programs. The Youth Ministries Coordinator shall be elected annually, and no one shall be disqualified for re-election because of having previously held the office.

7.     Church Music Minister.  The Church Music Minister shall be responsible for the Music Department, directing the Church Choir, Choir practice, and overseeing other music activities at the Church. He (she) shall be responsible for acquiring music materials as may be needed to conduct the music ministry. The Church Music Minister shall also be responsible for seeing that a piano player is available for both the Sunday Church service and the Wednesday evening service whenever possible. He (she) shall provide for music at other times and places as may be necessary to enhance the spread of the Gospel ministry of this Church. It is his (her) duty to attend all Church services whenever possible or arrange for a replacement in his (her) absence. The Church Music Minister shall be elected annually, and no one shall be disqualified for re-election because of having previously held the office.

8.     Coporate Statutory Agent.  The Corporate Statutory Agent shall be responsible for maintaining the Church’s non-profit corporation status.  He (She) shall communicate with the Ohio Secretary of State’s Office and renew the Corporation Charter as needed to meet the requirements of the Ohio State Code for a non-profit corporation.  He (She) shall keep the Church Council informed in a timely manner as to renewal dates, cost of renewing, and other information needed for the Church to function as a non-profit corporation.  He (She) shall also provide the Church Clerk with a copy of the current certificate that will be kept with the other Church records.  The Corporate Statutory Agent shall be elected for a term that is concurrent with the year of charter renewal.  The first election for the Corporate Statutory Agent shall be at the quarterly business meeting in July 2005.  No one shall be disqualified for re-election because of having previously held the office.

ARTICLE VII. Council, Boards, and Committees

SECTION 1.  Unless Otherwise Provided,

all boards and committees of this Church shall be elected by majority vote of the Church using secret ballots. All boards and committees shall elect their own chairperson by majority vote.
