Notes: The Declaration Of Faith and Church Covenant were included in this document because both had been part of the Church history at least as far back as 1861 and probably before that year. The exact date could not be established. This Constitution and Bylaws document was prepared by the following members of the Vanderhoof Baptist Church who served on the Constitution/Bylaws Committee and given the charge of this service for the Church:
This document was adopted by unanimous vote of the membership of the Church in attendance at its regular annual business meeting on January 10, 2001, there being a quorum present. --------------------------------- A new Bylaws Article V (the so called Deacon’s Resolution) was adopted by the membership on July 11, 2001 at the regular business meeting. The other articles have been renumbered accordingly. --------------------------------- Bylaws Article III was amended on 10/10/2001 to establish voting procedures when calling a new Pastor. --------------------------------- The Bylaws were amended on 4/10/2002 to move ARTICLE V (the so called Deacon’s Resolution) from the Bylaws to the Church Policies.
