VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!! !

 Have you been wondering, “What area can I get involved in by helping out in the Church”?   “A Snack Coordinator” is needed in the Sunday school area. This would involve purchasing snacks and counting them out each Sunday morning when the children go to their classes and placing them in a bin for them to have after Sunday school.  The Church will reimburse you for the expenses. See Vickie Beaver, or call (667-5991) if you could help out in this ministry.

 YOUTH MINISTRIES VOLUNTEER … Would you consider becoming a “Youth Ministries Volunteer” … if so, see Pastor Craig or Vince Beaver for further details.

We have a loving Nursery staffed by loving hands & hearts under the direction of Erica Sams (667- 6625). We now have 9 teams that have volunteered to help out in the nursery every 9 weeks. Thanks to all that have graciously volunteered to help out in the nursery.

Proverbs 29: 18

Where there is no vision, the people perish;

but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

As you may have noticed, God has been good to us here at Vanderhoof Baptist Church. He has especially blessed the Youth Ministry. Our youth program has been “ …pressed down, shaken together, and running over…”. We have a great team of leaders and helpers. These men and women work very hard, seeing that our young people are ministered to, cared for, and loved. Our youth leaders are excited for God, and anxious to see where He will lead us next.

Vision and goals are important. All goals begin with a vision and we must continue to press toward the next level. That next level has raised the discussion of a mid week youth program. This is a great idea, and is a goal for the coming year. There is a lot to consider and we must wait on God’s timing. If God is calling you into ministry and you feel this is an area of interest for you, please see Pastor Craig or Vince Beaver, and we will pray about this together and put the matter in God’s hands.
